Coaching for church production directors

Build a production team that can carry the work together.

When every question and last-minute change comes back to you, leading the team gets pushed aside.

I help production directors set priorities, develop people, and bring structure to the work behind Sunday.

Room to lead

Keeping Sunday running can leave little time to build the team.

You know the systems. You care about the people. But the immediate needs keep taking the time you meant to spend developing both.

  • Questions and decisions keep coming back to you.
  • Volunteer development gets pushed to next week.
  • The same problems return without a clear plan to address them.

Coaching gives you dedicated time to work through those patterns, choose a focus, and put the next steps into practice.

What we’ll work on

The person behind the coaching

I know the work behind the service.

I’m Sam Cornwell. I’ve spent more than 20 years across church production, technology, creative communications, and team leadership.

As the former Central Production & Tech Director at Radiant Church, I helped build and launch technical environments for 12+ church locations. That work connected systems, production workflows, staff training, and volunteer development.

I care about reliable systems and healthy teams. Coaching brings those two priorities into the same conversation.

Before we talk

A few practical questions.

Who is this coaching for?

Church production directors who want to develop their teams, clarify roles, and bring more purpose and structure to weekly production. We’ll start with your team and the challenges you’re working through.

What does the $1,200 include?

Six coaching calls over three months, with two calls each month. We’ll set purposeful goals around your team and workflows, with resources and next steps to put into practice between calls.

What happens on the introductory call?

We’ll talk about your church, your team, and the pressure or decisions in front of you. It’s a starting point for deciding whether coaching is a useful fit and what your first goals could be.

Can we work together remotely?

Yes. I’m based in Tampa, Florida, and work with churches and organizations locally and remotely.

What if I mainly need help with equipment or an upgrade?

I also offer church technology reviews and project guidance. Share what you’re working through on the introductory call so we can identify the right kind of support.
