Brian Porzio is a evangelist and actor living in LA. He was in need of a clean website that he could use to promote himself and his ministry. Brian speaks at camps and conferences nation wide and also needed a place for people to leave feedback and connect with him. Brian already has a blog on wordpress.com so it was a simple process to take that and import it to a selfhosted wordpress site. We grabbed a theme from themeforest.net and tweaked it.
Theme Used: intermezzo
We also wanted to brand Brian with a clean font that he could use elsewhere, on business cards or anything he was printing or designing. We went to dafont.com and came up with Clemente. It has clean lines as well as having an assortment of weights.

Since Brian is an evangelist, we wanted to allow him to take donations on his website. The easiest way for him to do this was to implement a donation button from paypal.
We were also able to set up a custom page that pulls video content linked from youtube or vimeo and one that pulls testimonials. It makes it easy for him to add more of these items as he wishes in the future.
Check Brian out at brianporzio.com.
Jason Shaffer has a recording studio and wanted to built a place where he could showcase his work as well as promote the artists that he works with. We created his site to resemble a business card he already had. We incorporated a Facebook area and a Facebook like button. In the past couple months his Facebook page now has about 500 fans/likes. Jason is very happy with his site and has given my name to a number of other people, some new sites are being built now. Jason also provided the audio to the must recent tripleshot video. Thanks, Jason! (fulltiltrecording.com)

Doug Mummert approached me about creating a website for him. This is his first web presence. He decided it was about time that he had a way to show off his project. I’m looking forward to getting more images posted for him and increasing his business. (mummertpaving.com)

The biggest promotional improvement a company can do is give their website an overhaul. Many people who built sites years ago did not have access to the site because it was not built on a content management system (CMS) So every time they need to update the site they spend crazy amounts of money to have a web designer tweek if for them. GMI Racing didn’t have a large budget, but wanted to take their current site and give it a facelift and add the ability to edit the site and manage it on their own. We were able to copy all of their current information, photos and style over to a new site and give them some training to manage it. Now instead of spending money to have a designer update the site, or worse not updating the site and letting it get out dated, they can do it on their own.
For the past 6 months we have been working along side the Assemblies of God PennDel District to overhaul their site (penndel.org). We knew from the start this was not going to be a simple, put it together and launch it, site. Every department had to have their own design, many of the departments wanted a site they could call their own but not at the expense of a webmaster managing individual sites. The answer came in WordPress MU (now merged into WordPress 3.0). We were able to create a network of sites each using the same theme but each department and/or event having a different look. Each site can post things to the home page and yet have there own group of admins and support management with control of only their section. We integrated their current calendar, iframed there financial and database software, integrated facebook photos and spent hours building out different looks. This site is live, but like most sites it is far from finished and we will continue to upgrade and work on it for… years to come.

Falcon Mortgage wanted a site with a nice simple refreshed business feel. They also wanted to be able to access the back end and make sure they could maintain and update the site with ease. WordPress was the beginning solution to both of these issues. We were able to customize there site to include all of the content from their aged html coded site AND they now have a great new site with a simple CMS that they can manage.
Many times you may not have a lot of money to spend and your goal may not be to create a huge new website, but simply to give your current website a facelift. That is what we did with www.mosscreekart.com. We took a very simple approach and made everything easily accessible. Down the road we would love to recreate their store, but one thing at a time. In a world where money can be tight, don’t let that limit your potential.
