Runway (stage design)

Runway (stage design)

PennDel Youth Camp 2013

The theme was Runway so the goal was to give you the feeling that we were going somewhere. We wanted to give theĀ anticipation from the moment you walked inĀ that we were going to take off. So we used this image of a runway that we had used on the poster and blew it up. The final size was 19.5 ft wide and 9.5 feet tall.

We had the image printed and mounted on choroplast by our friends over at DGI creative. Then we ran fishing line down the choroplast and tied it off . We used black straws cut to 6 inches as the spacers between each panel. And then to give it a cool effect we used 2 48inch LED strips to light the image. We could turn the runway lights to any color. It was a great backdrop to a great 2 weeks of camp.
